What makes ZeroGap different from conventional decking?
ZeroGap uses a connected board profile to create a surface without open spaces between adjacent boards. Its concealed twist-and-click fastening also allows an individual board to be lifted for access or replacement.
What size are ZeroGap boards?
Each board measures 5.6″ wide × 0.87″ thick × 10′ long and has a brushed finish with all-around Surlyn® capping.
Which colours can I choose?
White Oak, Desert Sage, Honey Oak, Misty Grey, Graphite and Dark Walnut. Screen colours can vary, so request a physical sample before making your final selection.
Can I use ZeroGap with standard or existing framing?
NeoLine offers compatible Sleeper and Pedestal–Aluminum Joist Systems for ZeroGap. If you plan to use standard wood framing or an existing structure, ask NeoLine to confirm the frame, support spacing and fastening compatibility before installation.
Can I use either subframe system with ZeroGap?
Yes. ZeroGap can be planned with a Sleeper System or a Pedestal and Joist System. Choose the compatible support profile and fastening combination with NeoLine to suit the substrate, available height and installation conditions.
When should I choose sleepers or pedestals?
Sleepers provide a low-profile option over suitable existing surfaces, such as membrane-protected patios. Adjustable pedestals offer more height flexibility and levelling for rooftop decks, terraces and uneven substrates. Have your installer confirm the support layout and drainage.
Does twist-and-click installation need screws?
Concealed twist-and-click clips secure the main board area without top-face screws or nails. Perimeter edge boards still require fastening. Follow the installation details for your chosen subframe.
Can a board be replaced from the middle of the deck?
Yes. The system is designed to let an individual board be lifted and replaced without removing the surrounding boards.
Does a no-gap surface make the deck waterproof?
A no-gap board surface is not a waterproofing specification. Keep the required membrane and drainage design, and confirm water management, perimeter clearances and installation details with NeoLine and your installer.
How much maintenance does ZeroGap need?
The connected profile helps keep debris from falling beneath the deck. Regular sweeping and suitable cleaning help preserve the brushed surface, with no routine painting, staining or sanding. Ask NeoLine for its recommended cleaning and care guidance.
How does ZeroGap differ from other hidden-fastener decks?

What is the brushed surface like?
